We had an amazing day at SCC.  We took a bus load of students to compete in different Career Development Events to qualify for the state competition this April. Below are the results:

Livestock Management- 5th out of 24 teams, Kole Svec, Cade Kresak, Kylie Weber, Peyton Pribyl- 2 points from qualifying

Ag Tech and Mech- 4th place out of 17 teams, STATE QUALIFIER, Ben Bartu, Mikey Bartu, Jayden Capek, Kole Svec.  Ben was 7th individually out of 68 competitors

Agriscience- 11th place out of 24 teams, ADVANCING to STATE, Zach Spohn, Reagan Bartley, Will Vyhnalek and Jayden Capek.  Zach was 2nd place individually and Reagan was 10th individually out of 96 individuals

Ag Sales- DISTRICT CHAMPIONS out of 8 teams, STATE QUALIFIER, Ella Archer, Vivian Weber, Kiah Songster and Will Vyhnalek.  Ella Archer was 3rd individually, Vivian was 7th, Will was 8th and Kiah was 9th out of 32 individuals

Natural Resources- 2nd place out of 11 teams, STATE QUALIFIER,  Christian Weber, Fred Hausman, Spencer Eberspacher and Shelby Lawver.  Christian was the 1st place and top individual and Fred was 10th place individually out of 44. 

Agronomy- 2nd place out of 13 teams, STATE QUALIFIER, Chase Svehla, Peyton Pribyl, Zach Spohn and Spencer Eberspacher.  Chase placed 4th individually and Zach placed 8th individually out of 52

Floral- 2nd place out of 17 teams, STATE QUALIFIER, Cameryn Brandt, Vivian Weber, Abbie Milton and Shelby Lawver. Cameryn was 3rd individually, Vivian was 6th, and Shelby was 9th out of 68. 

Vet Science did amazing well but was missing a team member so we couldn’t place as a team.  Individually, Kylie Weber was 6th, Reagan Bartley was 14th and Shyann Smith was 13th out of 48. 

Congratulations to ALL of our members for competing yesterday and trying something new.  We are proud of all of you.
