Spanishclass

On the first day of Spanish class, students took "selfies" to remember the day.

Just as we take "selfies" to remember, anyone learning another language can personalize the vocabulary in order to learn it faster. That is, one makes it relatable to something in his/her own life.  For example, my grandma's brother's name happened to be Herman.  In Spanish the word Hermano means brother, so I had an easy way to personalize that word and remember it. Learning new vocabulary in any language doesn't have to be drudgery. One can be creative by making picture cards or making up rhymes or songs. Practice new words at least ten minutes every day and have fun! I am looking forward to creating great new memories in Spanish class.
