Central City's course was on the Valley View Golf Course which felt more traditional than some of the courses we have run on so far.  Each meet is a learning curve for us, but I think we are handling it pretty well.  Our lead runner for the HS boys, Keltyn Kirchhoff set a goal of breaking 19 min. and he got after it and finished with a time of 18:49 finishing 48th out of 135 runners, while Caleb Black followed suit by breaking 20 min. and ran a 19:41.  The biggest PR of the day however came from Grady Bresson who set his mind and attitude for breaking 21 minutes and instead he PRs by 1:43 posting a time of 19:54.81.  Troy Kallhoff ran a great race as well improving his time by 50 seconds, running 22:45.

Kyler Sladek also ran a PR for the girls with a time of 28:57.  She says running cross country is exciting, every course is so different.

JH did very well again for EMF as well Emily Bartels our lone JH girl finished 17th out of 105 girls.

The 5 boys including Titus Petersen, Gehrig Weber, Keisyn Kirchhoff, Beau Becker and John Cruz finished 7th out of 15 teams.  Titus received a 13th place while Gehrig was 4 seconds behind him with a 15th place finish out of 153 runners.
