Carter Milton shot a 79 and 77 for 156 at Lake Maloney Golf course in North Platte this week. He finished in 5th place! A few highlights: He birdied his first hole of the tournament, and drove the green on the par 4 6th hole, leading to an easy birdie. On day two he had a streak of 10 straight pars, including the par 5 11th, where his drive struck a bird in mid air knocking the ball down only 100 yards off the tee box. Sadly the bird did not survive, but Carter was able to cobble together a par on the hole.
